How a testing letter works
Choose what to test
Select the assemblies for this visit. 1-1/2 inch and smaller is one price, and 1-3/4 inch and larger is another.
Pick a date
An hour window puts the selected tests on the schedule. The office still has the request.
Annual test Most assemblies are due once a year.
On the property Homes and businesses, one visit per address.
Filed for you The water authority gets the completed report.
What we test
A backflow assembly sits on the water line so used water cannot return to the public supply. The test confirms the checks and relief valve still hold.
Reduced pressure
RP and RPDA assemblies, including the relief valve and both checks.
Double check
DC and DCDA assemblies used on lower-hazard connections.
Vacuum breakers
Pressure vacuum breakers and spill-resistant vacuum breakers.
The report follows the test
We test backflow prevention assemblies and file the results with your water authority. An annual test checks that the assembly still keeps used water from flowing back into the drinking water supply. We test on site, record the readings, and submit the report the authority requires. You keep a copy for the property.
